Vietnam Airlines, located in Hanoi, stated on social media that regular flights to Paris, London, and Frankfurt will resume in late January 2022.
According to Flightradar24.com, Vietnam Airlines’ Airbus A350 aircraft, registered as VN-A889, took off from Hanoi International Airport (HAN) on January 24, 2022, and is currently its way to London Heathrow Airport (LHR).
Vietnam Airlines will travel to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) and Frankfurt Airport later this week (FRA). Vietnam Airlines will also fly to Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport (SVO) on January 28, 2022, according to the airline’s website.
Except for ambassadors, authorities, experts, and skilled employees, all foreign travellers were barred from entering Vietnam in March 2020.
Vietnam authorities said earlier in 2021 that they planned to resume phased foreign travel in January 2022, with full international travel resumed by July 2022.

According to an announcement dated January 16, 2022, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) increased the frequency of scheduled international passenger flights linking Vietnam with four Asian destinations.
