By introducing additional flights from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to Brisbane Airport (BNE), Auckland Airport (AKL), and Christchurch Airport (CHC), United Airlines is extending its reach to Australian cities.

United Airlines will operate more flights between the United States, Australia, and New Zealand as a result of the significant expansion, which starts at the end of 2023, than all other US airlines combined.

Beginning on October 28, 2023, United will provide daily flights from San Francisco to Auckland and four weekly flights directly from Los Angeles to Auckland, New Zealand.

The airline will begin service on a new Los Angeles–Brisbane route three times per week starting on November 29, 2023.

The following routes will also see an increase in frequency beginning on October 28, 2023: San Francisco-Brisbane will operate daily, while San Francisco-Sydney will operate twice daily.

Starting on October 29, 2023, United will also launch a seasonal, three-times weekly route from Houston International Airport (IAH) to Sydney. The number of flights will increase to daily beginning on November 29, 2023.

On December 1st, 2023, United will launch a third new route: a three-times weekly service between San Francisco and Christchurch.
