Following Australia’s decision to fully reopen its international borders to fully vaccinated visitors as of February 21, 2022, United Airlines has resumed its San Francisco to Melbourne flights.
UA was one of the few airlines that kept flights between the United States and Australia (Los Angeles – Sydney) running throughout the pandemic to convey crucial cargo.
United Airlines passenger flights from San Francisco to Melbourne will resume on May 7, 2022. The flights are scheduled to leave on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays three times a week.
The United Airlines 60 flight leaves San Francisco at 23:00 local time and arrives in Melbourne at 07:30 local time the next day. The United Airlines 61 flight leaves Melbourne at 09:30 local time and arrives in San Francisco at 07:00 local time the same day.
