United Airlines Boeing 767 loses part of fuselage panel

According to Aviation Herald, a United Airlines Boeing 767’s underside fuselage panel was ripped off during a trip from New York to Dublin on August 26, 2022.

The N76064-registered Boeing 767-400 was operating flight UA23 from New York’s Newark Liberty International Airport to Dublin Airport when it experienced a fuselage panel loss.

According to information from Flightradar24.com, the flight crew safely landed in Dublin, however the return flight to New York was postponed.

“We’ve informed investigators in Ireland and the U.S. and will work with them to better understand what happened,” a United Airlines spokesperson told.
