Thai Airways Airbus A350 escapes a burning tug

The event happened at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, the base airport for Thai Airlines (BKK).

The airplane moving tug saw sudden smoke and later fire. The incident was managed by the emergency response crew, and no issues occurred with the aircraft.

The emergency responders quickly moved to avoid a serious incident with Thai Airlines’ A350 aircraft, and the passengers are safe.

According to a tweet by FL360 Aero, a passenger on another aircraft took a photo of the airplane parked at BKK.

The passenger-captured aircraft, with the registration HS-THG, is an Airbus A350-941 model.

Following the incident, the plane’s flight from Bangkok to Kaula Lumpur was postponed.
