The World Airport Awards, held at the Passenger Terminal EXPO in Amsterdam on March 15, 2023, awarded Singapore Changi Airport as the Best Airport in the World.
The titles of Best Airport Food and Best Airport Leisure Facilities were also obtained by Changi Airport.

The best airport shopping in the world, the best airport in the Middle East, and the cleanest airport in the Middle East were all given to Doha’s Hamad International Airport, which was named the world’s best airport in 2021 and 2022.

Tokyo Haneda Airport, which is ranked No. 3 globally, extended its winning run from the previous year by taking home prizes for Best Airport PRM & Accessible Facilities, Best Domestic Airport, and Cleanest Airport in the World.
Incheon Airport in Seoul, which is ranked No. 4 globally, has earned prizes for Asia’s Best Airport Staff, Best Airport Immigration Processing, and Best Airport Staff Worldwide.
The Chubu Centrair International Airport in Nagoya received the World’s Best Regional Airport title, and Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport was named the World’s Most Improved Airport. Centrair’s Terminal 2 also won the Best Low-Cost Airline Terminal title.
For an incredible eighth year running, Crowne Plaza Changi Airport has won the title of the World’s Best Airport Hotel.
Bahrain International Airport took home top honors for the World’s Best Airport Luggage Delivery award, while Zurich Airport replicated its success by receiving the World’s Best Airport Security Processing accolade.
On the same day that the new Terminal B at LaGuardia Airport got the highest 5-Star Airport Terminal Rating from Skytrax, it was named the World’s Best New Airport Terminal.
“Our goal at the Port Authority was to completely transform the customer experience at LaGuardia, from curb to gate, by building a brand-new, world-class airport,” said Rick Cotton, Executive Director of the Port Authority. “Winning this prestigious award and becoming the first North American airport terminal to receive a 5-star rating from Skytrax proves that we have accomplished what many once said was impossible: elevate LaGuardia from worst to best.”
