From June 5th, Qatar Airways will restart flights to London Gatwick Airport.

A Boeing 787 Dreamliner will be used to fly from Gatwick to Doha on a daily basis, with 22 seats in business class and 232 seats in economy.

The return of the London Gatwick service complements Qatar Airways’ joint business partner British Airways’ recently inaugurated flights to Doha from Gatwick.

As a result of the partnership, the airlines will be able to provide more options between London and Qatar’s capital.

Customers in the United Kingdom will now have access to four gateways, including five daily services from London Heathrow, 18 weekly services from Manchester, and four weekly services from Edinburgh, which will increase to daily on June 2nd.

“Our commitment to the UK market has been unshakable, and we operated regularly and reliably during the epidemic,” said Qatar Airways Group CEO Akbar Al Baker. “I am glad we can resume our popular service to London Gatwick.”

“We offer excellent connectivity to and from the UK, providing travelers with more choice and convenience.

“This year is very special for us, not least as it is the 25th anniversary of the start of our flights to London Heathrow in March 1997.”
