On May 15, 2023, Qatar Airways’ second Boeing 737 MAX began commercial operation, flying the QR1070 route between Kuwait International Airport (KWI) and Doha Hamad International Airport (DOH).

Since then, the narrow-body aircraft, registered as A7-BSE, has primarily flown to KWI, Sharjah International Airport (SHJ), or Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH), both in the United Arab Emirates.

On April 14, 2023, when the plane touched down at DOH and was given the registration number A7-BSC, Qatar Airways received its first Boeing 737 MAX. On May 9, 2023, that aircraft went into service and began operating on the same routes as A7-BSE, namely flights to KWI or AUH.

The airline also received its third Boeing 737 MAX, registered as A7-BSB, which took off from Everett Paine Field (PAE), in the United States (US), on May 17, 2023, and arrived at DOH on May 19, 2023.

The aircraft will probably go through a few days of familiarization training before being put into duty, just like the two similar aircraft that the carrier has already received.

According to information from ch-aviation.com, the Qatari carrier is expected to get six additional aircraft of this type in total.
