Fasting during the flight has been prohibited by the national flag carrier due to medical concerns.
Abdullah Hafeez, a spokesman for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), verified the ban’s notification.
If any member believes it is necessary to fast, he has been asked to go on leave, according to the announcement.
Except for PIA and Emirates, all airlines throughout the world currently prohibit their crews from fasting during Ramadan. PIA, on the other hand, has now joined the list of airlines that prohibit their crews from fasting during aircraft operations.
The notice was issued by PIA Flight Services General Manager Amir Bashir.
