On July 14, the first of five weekly return flights by Lynx Air (Lynx) between Edmonton International Airport and Toronto Pearson International Airport, and St. John’s International Airport took off from Edmonton International Airport.

On July 30, 2022, Lynx will begin offering two weekly services to Halifax Stanfield International Airport, expanding its Edmonton network to include seven weekly flights between Edmonton and Toronto. At that time, Lynx will be operating 14, or 2,646 seats a week, flights into and out of Edmonton.

With a single boarding pass, the St. John’s and Halifax services will run as through flights via Toronto Pearson, offering a seamless experience. Through-flights enable travelers to avoid deplaning in Toronto by allowing passengers to check luggage through to their final destination.

As part of its tenth network expansion in Canada, Lynx is celebrating its inaugural flight from Edmonton.
