The first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner has been officially delivered to Lufthansa (LHAB) (LHA), and it will touch down in Frankfurt on August 30, 2022.
On August 28, 2022, at 16:00 local time (23:00 UTC), the aircraft with the registration D-ABPA will take off from Paine Field (PAE) as LH9921, Lufthansa (LHAB) (LHA) announced on its Instagram profile. On August 30, 2022, it is anticipated to touch down in Frankfurt (FRA) around 11:00 local time (09:00 UTC).
32 Dreamliners have been ordered by Lufthansa (LHAB) (LHA), and they should arrive between 2022 and 2027. Five 787 aircraft deliveries were initially anticipated for 2022.
Due to manufacturing problems, the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) decided to delay the initial delivery of new Dreamliners to American Airlines (A1G) (AAL) until August 9, 2022.
