In early July, Korean Air aims to restore three long-haul flights, including service to Las Vegas (LAS).

Starting July 10, an Airbus A330-200 will operate three times weekly on the Seoul Incheon (ICN)-LAS route.

Prior to it, on July 1, SkyTeam will restart flights from ICN to Milan Malpensa (MXP) and Vienna (VIE). Both routes will be run three times a week.

“In restoring its global network to meet post-pandemic international travel demand, Korean Air will ramp up its operations by gradually resuming suspended routes,” the airline said in a statement.

In addition, starting June 27, Korean Air will increase frequency on the already-restored ICN-London Heathrow (LHR) route to 5X weekly.

Korean Air is in the process of merging with Asiana Airlines, a rival South Korean carrier. When completed, the amalgamated carrier is predicted to be among the world’s top ten airlines. The proposed merger is still awaiting regulatory approval.
