Akasa Air, an Indian start-up airline, has presented its new livery, which features orange and purple tones and claims to be inspired by the sky.
Akasa Air is a low-cost carrier financed by Indian billionaire Rakesh Jhunjhunwala that expects to launch in mid-2022.
“Inspired by elements of the sky, The Rising A symbolizes the warmth of the sun, the effortless flight of a bird, and the dependability of an aircraft wing,” the airline states in a social media post. The airline vows to be “the most dependable airline in India”.
‘It’s your sky’ is the tagline the airline has chosen and which was unveiled in a promotional video.
The Boeing 737 MAX will be operated by Akasa Air, which placed an order for 72 of the planes during the Dubai Airshow on November 16, 2021.
Boeing commended Akasa on its new livery and expressed interest in expanding its relationship with India’s newest airline.
