During an engine runup occurrence at Kingman Airport in Arizona, a United Express Embraer ERJ-145LR was damaged.
On the 22nd of December, an Embraer ERJ-145 with the registration N16911 was involved in an incident . After the aircraft surged ahead during the engine test and collided with two ground vehicles, one person on the ground was critically hurt.
The plane was grounded and connected to a tug. However, one of the employees at Kingman Aviation Services was unsure about the brakes. The company was reportedly doing a full power run-up at that time.
According to the employee, the plane continued forward, crashing with two KSAI cars and crushing his coworker’s legs.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will not examine this event since the plane was not ready to fly.
