Incident: Transavia Boeing 737 Damage The Fuselage & Nose Gear During Landing

The Boeing 737 (reg. F-GZHA) suffered an incident when it landed at Nantes, France at 13:05.

The two front wheels of flight #TO3943 from Djerba (Tunisia) separated from the landing gear bogies as the aircraft touched down in Nantes.

The Passengers deplaned while the aircraft was immobilized on an access ramp.

The runway had to be closed at the airport because of the incident’s debris.

To further understand the facts behind this event, the civil aviation safety investigation and analysis office has launched an investigation.

The wheels also caused damage to the fuselage.

This jet was scheduled to depart for Bastia at 13:45, however, the flight was delayed until the following Sunday.

For two hours, the runway was blocked off. Flight operations are resuming slowly since 16.00.
