According to a statement from RwandAir, flight WB464, a Bombardier CRJ-900, experienced a runway excursion at Entebbe International Airport on April 20, 2022.
Nairobi International Airport served as the departure point for the flight.
The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning upon arrival in Entebbe.
The plane veered off the runway upon landing at Entebbe International Airport, according to a statement made by the company.

According to a preliminary investigation, severe meteorological conditions, particularly heavy rain, had a role in the incident.
No injuries were reported, according to the airline, and all flight crew and passengers were safely evacuated off the plane.
The airline and Ugandan authorities will initiate an official investigation.
“We are working closely with the local authorities, including the Ugandan Civil Aviation Authority, who will investigate the circumstances around the incident,” the airline said.
RwandAir now has one Airbus A330-300, one Airbus A330-200, four Boeing 737-800NGs, two Bombardier Q-400 NextGens, two Bombardier CRJ-900 NextGens, and two Boeing 737-700NGs in its fleet.
