A Flyegypt Boeing 737-700, registration SU-TMM, carrying 113 passengers on flight FT-3103 from Hurghada, Egypt, to Cluj, Romania, landed on runway 25 at 19:12L (16:12Z) when the tower instantly noticed sparks and flames from the landing gear.
All four main tyres on the aircraft burst about 1028 meters/3370 feet past the displaced runway threshold when the plane stops on the runway.
The runway had to be shut down.
