After the captain of a Corsair Airbus A330neo became ill over the Atlantic, the plane was forced to divert to the Azores.

The captain of the Airbus A330-900 registered F-HHUG, felt unwell over the Atlantic Ocean while flying SS925 from Martinique Aimé Césaire International Airport to Paris Orly Airport.

When the captain was unable to fly the plane, the first officer took command and declared ‘mayday’ before landing safely on the Portuguese island.
