The EP-CAP aircraft was landing as flight RV-6904 from Mashhad International Airport to Isfahan International Airport when the main gear collapsed shortly after touch down.
The plane stopped on soft ground, its nose gear off the paved surface, and it was evacuated using slides. During the process, five of the 117 passengers were hurt. The plane had a total of 117 passengers and nine staff members on board.
During the evacuation, three female passengers sustained minor injuries, while two male passengers suffered major leg fractures.
