To address the increased demand for travel to Mauritius, Emirates will begin running twice-daily flights on its flagship A380 aircraft beginning July 1, 2022.
Emirates’ Boeing 777-300ER aircraft currently fly to Mauritius on a daily basis. In response to increased demand, the airline will increase daily flights to nine weekly flights between April 9 and June 30, 2022, before increasing to double daily flights in July 2022.
The addition of Emirates’ second daily flight will help to enhance tourism to the Indian Ocean island, which has recently loosened entry restrictions for visitors.
Customers from Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East who want to visit Mauritius to enjoy its sandy beaches, crystal clear oceans, and rich natural surroundings will have more flight options and seamless connectivity thanks to the new route.
The Emirates A380 remains a consumer favorite, with 14 First Class suites, 76 Business Class lie-flat seats, and 426 ergonomically built Economy Class seats.
