A four-day strike by workers at Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) and Orly Airport (ORY) is scheduled to take place from June 30, 2022, to July 3, 2022, which is predicted to cause flight delays in Paris.

On June 9, 2022, three weeks after the airlines at CDG called a strike in protest of worsening wages and working conditions, a fifth of their flights was canceled.

The strike and anticipated flight delays for June 30, 2022, were also announced on the website of the nation’s flag carrier, Air France. The airline reported that flight schedules to and from CDG between 07:00 and 14:00 local time have been reduced at the request of the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC).

“As a consequence, Air France has been forced to adjust its flight schedule to and from this airport and plans to operate all its long-haul flights, and nearly 90% of its short and medium-haul flight program,” Air France said in a statement.

According to data from Paris Aéroport and the French Civil Aviation Authority, Air France also stated that it will modify its flight schedule for the remaining strike days if necessary (DGAC).
