New nonstop flights by Finnair are being offered between Helsinki and Mumbai in India.
The number of weekly flights to the well-known Indian city will increase to four in November from the initial three.
Customers can choose between flying in Business Class or Economy Class on Finnair’s cutting-edge A330.
The addition of the new route to Mumbai marks the beginning of Finnair’s second service to India; the airline already operates daily flights to New Delhi, the country’s capital.
Our activities will begin in Mumbai, according to Sakari Romu, General Manager of Finnair for India.
“Our three-weekly flights serve our customers not only in providing a connection to Finland but also to our network in the US and major European cities”.
A combined ceremony between Finnair and Finavia, the Finnish airport operator, will be followed by the inaugural flight from Helsinki to honor the occasion.
Customers onboard will be offered specially made chocolates from the renowned Finnish confectioner Fazer as a tasty treat.
Flights from Helsinki will land in Mumbai at 5:15 the following morning after leaving at 17:55. The flight back arrives at Finnair’s base at 14:05 after departing the Indian city at 07:10.
The timing of the services has been carefully planned to facilitate quick connections to Finnair’s international destinations, which include prominent UK airports including London Heathrow, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Dublin.
Thanks to all services operating from the same cutting-edge, world-class terminal in Helsinki, Finnair ensures a seamless and simple connection for customers between flights, with transfers starting at only 35 minutes.
