Emirates has announced its second daily service on the Sydney-Dubai route, which will be served by the A380 aircraft, as Australian borders reopen on February 21, 2022.

Beginning March 1, 2022, the airline will add seven additional flights per week to its Dubai-Sydney service, bringing the total number of weekly flights to fourteen.

Daily at 10:15 a.m. local time, Emirates flight EK412 will depart Dubai and arrive in Sydney at 7:00 a.m. local time the next day.

EK413 will leave Sydney at 21:45 local time and arrive in Dubai at 05:15 local time the next day.

This is in addition to EK414 from Dubai, which departs at 02:00 local time and arrives at 22:30 local time in Sydney.

EK415, the return flight from Sydney, departs at 6:00 a.m. local time and arrives in Dubai at 13:20 a.m. local time.

Daily flights to Melbourne are also operated by the Emirates A380 aircraft, which replaced the Boeing 777-300ER on February 1, 2022.

The upgrading to the A380 aircraft provides a 50% increase in capacity to meet expected demand from the reopening of Australia’s international borders.

In addition to the capitals of New South Wales and Victoria, Emirates operates five weekly flights to Brisbane and three weekly flights to Perth, both using the airline’s Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
