As part of its aim to surprise passengers with distinctive and seasonal experiences that represent its global clientele and presence, Emirates is introducing seasonal delicacies to celebrate Easter onboard and in select airport lounges across the world.
Customers in all cabin classes can enjoy the Easter menu from the 16th to the 18th of April when flying from Dubai to locations in Europe, Australia, the United States, Canada, South Africa, Brazil, and the Philippines.
From the 23rd to the 25th of April, Emirates will celebrate Orthodox Easter with special menus for clients flying from Dubai to Cyprus and Greece.
On some sectors, travelers can enjoy Emirates’ famous hot cross buns or raisin brioche for breakfast on board.
Premium passengers will be able to have Easter-themed sweets such as Easter egg cake, which is made up of chocolate mousse with raspberry sauce filling and adorned with berries and dark chocolate crumbs; while children in all classes will be delighted with desserts depicting an Easter egg.
In addition to the regionally themed cuisine offered on all Emirates flights, this seasonal option is available.
Six Emirates lounges at Dubai International Airport, as well as the majority of the airline’s dedicated Emirates lounges around the world, will offer Easter deals from April 16 to 18.
In the Emirates First Class Lounges in Dubai, passengers can enjoy a rich chocolate pastry or Easter chocolate cheesecake. Traditional Easter carrot cake and chocolate brownie with caramel sauce are available at Dubai International Airport’s Business Class Lounge.
Frequent flyers and those traveling in Emirates First and Business Class can enjoy Easter menus with different local highlights at Emirates lounges in other international airports, such as Roman lamb chops served with artichokes and mint in the Emirates Rome lounge, traditional South African pickled fish in the Emirates lounges in Cape Town, sweet yeast bread in the Emirates Hamburg lounge, and Easter leg of lamb, potato gratin with chocolate chip sour cream cake for desirability in the Emirates Frankfurt lounge.
Customers traveling over the Easter holiday will have access to up to 5,000 channels of on-demand entertainment on ice, including over 1,500 movies from across the world and over 100 kids and family channels.
Spider-Man: No Way Home, Sing 2, Encanto, Rumble, and Ghostbusters: Afterlife is among the new family-friendly titles added this month. In addition, over 30 kids’ channels including programs from CBeebies and Cartoon Network will keep kids entertained.
Customers may construct their own playlists of music, movies, and TV episodes on the Emirates app ahead of their journey and sync them to their seats while on board to get the most out of their entertainment time.
Throughout the year, a number of festivals are held onboard and in Emirates’ lounges. Fasting travelers may now make use of Emirates’ hallmark Ramadan services, which enable them to travel more comfortably and cater to their specific needs aboard and on the ground.
The Ramadan boxes are available on specific locations during iftar or suhoor times, on flights to and from the Gulf region, and on aircraft catering to Umrah parties traveling to Jeddah and Medina throughout Ramadan.
Emirates offered customers festive delights on all flights to India during the Diwali season, while the Lunar New Year was commemorated with a specially curated collection of festive sweets. On most flights, the Christmas holiday season was marked by delectable Christmas dinners, festive movies, and music playlists.
