Beginning March 1, 2023, the airline will increase its service on the Dubai-Johannesburg route with three daily flights.

Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban will all receive more routes from the Dubai-based airline Emirates.

Emirates stated in a statement that the increase in flights is a part of the airline’s continuous commitment to support South Africa’s economic and tourism revival through improved connectivity across all of its gateways.

From March 1, 2023, Emirates will add three daily flights to and from Johannesburg to its schedule.

A Boeing 777 will carry out the Dubai to Johannesburg flight EK 767. The flight will leave at 11.25 p.m. and land in Johannesburg at 5.35 a.m. the following day.

Returning passengers will board the flight at 10.20 p.m. from Johannesburg and land in Dubai at 8.20 a.m. the following day. With more than 300 tickets available each way, the third daily flight out of Johannesburg will assist in meeting high demand.

Beginning on February 1, 2023, double daily services will be provided to Cape Town.

The second daily flight from Emirates to Cape Town will leave Dubai at 9.10 am and arrive at 4.45 pm. Then, at 1.25 p.m., it will leave Cape Town and land in Dubai at 1.10 a.m. the following day.

Emirates will increase its daily service to Durban by two more flights starting on December 1, 2022.
