LinkedIn is used by many airlines to promote new routes, liveries, and services. Now, one CEO has turned to the site for assistance in locating planes for a new airline.
AVA Airways, based in Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic, is looking for lease partners for four Airbus A320 aircraft, according to chief executive Olivier Arrindell’s LinkedIn profile.
Arrindell stated the airline is searching for A320NEO aircraft with GE CFM Leap engines or A320CEO aircraft with CFM engines, and that AVA would accept planes in the mid-lifecycle.
“Step by step we are moving,” he commented.
AVA Airways intends to fly between Santo Domingo, North America, South America, and other Caribbean destinations on a regular basis.
