Beginning on October 30, Delta will restart service between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Tokyo International Airport (HND), anticipating Japan’s relaxation of travel restrictions.

Before switching to daily service on December 1, the route will initially run three times each week. An Airbus 330-900neo aircraft with Delta One Suites, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin amenities will be used for the restart of service.

On December 1, Delta will also launch a brand-new daily flight between Honolulu and Haneda. Since the pandemic caused its commencement to be postponed, this is the first time that Delta has provided service from Haneda to Honolulu. The Boeing 767-300ER aircraft will provide customers Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort Plus, and Main Cabin services.

Haneda serves as a major Delta hub and provides a variety of flight options from major U.S. gateways like Seattle, Atlanta, and Detroit.
