For the summer season, Air Transat has announced the reopening of a large number of its routes.
The company is focusing on consolidating its position in the transatlantic market and expanding its services in the United States, as well as offering flights to the South and within Canada.
It will operate more than 250 direct weekly flights on 69 direct destinations throughout the peak summer season.
Expanded service to Europe starting in April
Air Transat will progressively resume direct flights from Montreal to 16 European locations, including, for the first time, Amsterdam, beginning in April. Customers will be able to travel nonstop to Athens, Basel-Mulhouse, Barcelona, Brussels, London, Madrid, Porto, Rome, and Venice, as well as the French regions of Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice, and Toulouse, once again.

Additionally, the airline now operates flights to Malaga and Lisbon, as well as a daily service to Paris, which will expand to up to 14 flights per week during the summer.
Air Transat will be the sole airline operating nonstop flights from Quebec City to two European capitals: first, to Paris beginning in early April, and then, for the first time and exclusively, to London in May.
This summer, Air Transat will fly to 15 European locations from Toronto. In addition to the flights already conducted to Glasgow, Lisbon, London, Manchester, and Porto, routes to Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Dublin, Lamezia, Paris, Rome, Venice, and Zagreb will be available once again. In addition, due to high demand for southern Portugal, Air Transat has decided to make Faro a year-round destination.
Heading to the U.S. sun
For the first time in the airline’s history, Air Transat will fly from Montreal to San Francisco and Los Angeles. Given Florida’s enduring popularity, the airline will now operate several of its routes year-round, including flights from Montreal to Fort Lauderdale and Miami, Quebec City to Fort Lauderdale, and Toronto to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando.
Even more domestic flights and connections
Domestic flight interest isn’t waning, and all indications are that domestic travel will be popular this summer. As a result, Air Transat will expand its flight schedule between Montreal, Toronto, Quebec City, Calgary, and Vancouver.
The South, always popular even in summer
Air Transat will provide a wide variety of its most popular destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean from Montreal, Quebec City, and Toronto, owing to Canadians’ fondness for the South even during the summer season.
