With the introduction of a new nonstop service in June 2023 between its hub at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport (CDG) and Ottawa’s Macdonald-Cartier (YOW) airport, Air France has announced that it would be expanding its presence in Canada. Additionally, the airline will restart its previous summer season-operated route to Quebec.

Beginning on June 27, 2023, an Airbus A330-200 aircraft with 224 seats will operate five times per week on the Ottawa route, the only nonstop route connecting the Canadian capital to Europe (36 in business, 21 in premium economy and 167 in economy class).

Beginning on May 2, 2023, a three-times-weekly flight will be made to Québec-Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) using a Boeing 787-9 aircraft.

Ottawa will join Montréal, Toronto, Vancouver, and Québec as Air France’s other four Canadian destinations.

Increased frequencies will also be seen at several other locations. Three flights per day will be provided to Montréal-Trudeau (YUL), two to Toronto-Pearson (YYZ), and one to Vancouver (YVR).
