On June 5, 2022, a Ryanair Boeing 737 was blocking the runway of Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) for several hours, causing flights to be delayed and diverted.

After landing, the plane remained on the runway. It arrived from Ibiza at 11:29 a.m. GMT, according to Flightradar24 (IBZ).

Passengers who witnessed the landing described it as “very heavy,” followed by a “very abrupt stop,” according to Metro.
