In Kamchatka, an An-2 jet crashed and burned almost completely.
An An-2 single-engine plane crashed in Russia’s Kamchatka Territory on Friday, killing two people, according to regional governor Vladimir Solodov.
The plane crashed less than a mile from the runway, near the village of Koryaki.
“There have been two crew members on board. In accordance with preliminary data of the Emergencies Ministry, they died because of the crash and the erupted hearth,” Solodov wrote on his Telegram channel.

Previously, there were two crew members on board, there were no passengers. Both died.

The plane belonged to the Kamchatsky Krechet firm, according to the transport prosecutor’s office.
The incident’s cause is yet unknown.
